UPBEAT-UK Pregnancies Better Eating and Activity Trial

UPBEAT is an intervention to improve pregnancy outcomes in overweight pregnant women and is being run by Kings College London in collaboration with University College London, Newcastle University and Guy's and St Thomas Hospital.

The programme aims to help women to make changes to their diet and physical activity levels in order to improve their glucose sensitivity.

Weight Concern has produced patient resources and provided guidance and training for the health professionals involved in delivering the intervention.
